PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday complimented the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for launching the ‘Digital India Campaign’ for inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities through which the government services could be availed of on demand.
 

The President, PHD Chamber, Mr. Alok B. Shriram said that with the launch of Digital India Campaign, the Prime Minister has unveiled the digital empowerment of citizens which also aims to provide broadband highways, universal access to mobile connectivity, public internet access programme, e-governance and reforming government through technology.
 

Mr. Shriram also said that inspired by the Digital India Campaign, the PHD Chamber on Wednesday also launched its video conferencing services, connecting all its regional offices with its corporate headquarter in New Delhi through which all its members from across the country can access its web services.
 

The Chamber has in the last month also opened up its Apps services to enable its members access the latest and evolving policies, consultation papers, upcoming events and programmes including the monthly bulletin of the Chamber in order to promote the Government’s ‘Digital India’ Initiatives.
