Shri Vijender Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly Calls Bikers ‘Messengers’ of Environmental and Road Safety Awareness at PHDCCI Adventure Ride 2.0
This ride is not just about adventure and tourism it also carries an important message for our environment and road safety. Rides like this help spread environmental awareness especially with tree plantations planned along the journey, said Shri Vijender Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly, at Ceremonial flag-Off of PHDCCI Adventure Ride 2.0 presented by Apollo Tyres, today at PHD House, New Delhi.
He further called the bikers messengers of this cause and urged them to promote environmental awareness and inspire other young people and biking enthusiasts to reflect on their role in protecting the environment.
Hon’ble speaker further advised riders to be mindful of speed and avoid dangerous driving as he stressed the importance of responsibility, self-control, and mutual support during the ride. He also highlighted how this kind of teamwork promotes team spirit, punctuality, and discipline which are essential qualities for any adventure.
He expressed hope that Delhi can become one of the least-polluted cities like Uttarakhand, and said initiatives like this are a step in that direction as he spoke about the improved road conditions that now make such bike rides safer and more supportive for bikers.
Dr. Ranjeet Mehta, CEO & Secretary General, PHDCCI discussed that in the current tense geopolitical situation we are currently witnessing, such initiatives are a powerful reflection of our resilience and patriotism. This rally stands as a symbol of unity, with the active participation of youngsters representing the spirit of Young India.
Dr. Mehta further appreciated Prime Minister Modi and the Government of India for promoting an ecosystem where even youth from rural areas are participating and competing at the global level. And highlighted India’s commendable performance on platforms like Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and the Olympics.
He concluded by urging both industry and youth to collaborate more closely with the government for nation-building.

PHDCCI Adventure Ride 2.0 Ride is the 2nd edition of the highly anticipated Adventure Bike Ride, themed “Bike ka Junoon, Devbhoomi ka Sukoon ”supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, scheduled for 9th May–10th May 2025 from Delhi to Lansdowne, Uttarakhand.
This thrilling journey will take riders from Delhi to the picturesque landscapes of Lansdowne, Uttarakhand, offering an unforgettable experience of camaraderie, adventure, and scenic beauty. Over 60 adventure bikers, including top influencers, biking enthusiasts, and media representatives, will be part of this exciting ride.
