India-Ethiopia SME Business Forum & Expo Inaugurated at PHD House, New Delhi
India-Ethiopia SME Business Forum & Expo invites the industry members to visit the exhibition in the next two days.
The Forum was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Fesseha Shawel Gebre, Ambassador of Ethiopia to India on 15th April 2025 at PHD House, New Delhi.
H.E. Mr. Fesseha Shawel Gebre, Ambassador of Ethiopia to India was pleased to see the gathering , he underscored the close and cordial bilateral relations between India and Ethiopia, highlighting the deep-rooted historical ties and the continued collaboration in areas of mutual interest and deeper economic ties between both the nations.
Mr. Dalip Chopra, Co-Chair, International Affairs Committee for Africa, PHDCCI, addressed the gathering on the industry perspective of the healthcare sector , he highlighted the potential for collaboration between India and African nations in areas such as medical technology, pharmaceuticals, and capacity building, emphasizing the role of the private sector in advancing accessible and quality healthcare solutions.
Mr. Akhil Jain, Co-Chair, International Affairs Committee for Africa, PHDCCI delivered the Formal Vote of Thanks. He expressed his gratitude to the PHDCCI team, partners, and all participants for their valuable contributions and active involvement.
Dr Ranjeet Mehta, CEO & SG, PHDCCI briefed the Ambassador of Ethiopia about activities of the Chamber and thanked him for his support in making this event a success.
Mr. Naveen Seth, Deputy Secretary General, PHDCCI, welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of PHDCCI’s activities, with a special focus on international engagements. He presented a comprehensive summary of PHDCCI’s wide-ranging efforts, emphasizing its pivotal role in supporting business growth, fostering innovation, and promoting trade relations both within India and globally.
The Expo features 35 booths, with 20 exhibitors from Ethiopia and 15 from India. The Ambassador of Ethiopia inaugurated the exhibition and personally interacted with the exhibitors, appreciating their enthusiasm and the diversity of products and services showcased.
