Dr D K Aggarwal thank the member organisations of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and industry stakeholders for contributing significantly in feeding hungry and underprivileged people, providing the sanitary products including sanitizers, surgical masks, among others to the needy section of the society.

We are creating awareness amongst our member organisations regarding movement of all goods allowed across states – within states and locally allowed by the Government of India for the benefit of trade and industry, said Dr Aggarwal.

We appreciate the initiatives taken by the Indian Railways by converting coaches of trains into isolation wards to help in catering a larger section of population and preparedness of the country to handle this difficult time.

We appreciate and thank the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal ji for accepting our suggestion on allowing the skeleton staff for the purpose of releasing of salaries of working in entities involved in non-essential activities for the purpose of payroll accounting and carrying out distribution of food packets and surgical masks and gloves to the needy and under privileged, said Dr. D K Aggarwal
