4th Agri Leadership Summit-2019 at Ganaur, (Sonepat) will deliberate multiple strategies to transform Haryana’s Farm Economy : PHDCCI

The 3-day’s 4th Agri Leadership Summit-2019 which begins here on 15th of this month under aegis of Government of Haryana and in which PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is “Institutional Partner” will deliberate on host of issues, confronting agri and horti sector of the State and come out with multiple suggestions and recommendations so that the Haryana witnesses critical transformation in its agri and horti sector.

The key sessions that will follow the inaugural ceremony of the 3-days Summit comprise emerging opportunities and challenges in Haryana’s agri and horti culture including its livestock, scope of agri business with new technologies, waste management opportunities and managing competition for establishing agri enterprises.

The Inaugural Session will witness the presence of Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Mr. Radha Mohan Singh and Union Steel Minister, Ch. Birender Singh in which Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister of Haryana, Mr. O P Dhankar will also be present in addition to Minister of State, Labour & Employment, Haryana, Mr. Nayab Saini; Minister of State, Cooperation, Haryana, Mr. Manish Grover and Women & child Development Minister, Haryana, Mrs. Kavita Jain among other public figures.

In a statement issued here today, Secretary General, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr Mahesh Y Reddy explained that PHDCCI being the institutional partner in the 4th Agri Leadership Summit-2019 would also collaborate with the Haryana Government in organizing multiple sessions during the 3-days Summit to deliberate on Government’s schemes and policies to promote agriculture and horticulture with participation from Start-ups and also discuss direct marketing strategies between producers and consumers with focus on public-private-partnership.

According to him, the Chamber would also make attempts to bring in foreign delegates, senior officials of agri and allied sectors, farm experts and innovators including executives of agri and food industries including farmer associations during the Summit so that intensive discussions take place to make it conclusive.

The 4th Agri Leadership Summit-2019 will come to an end with a closing ceremony in which the Chief Guest will be Hon’ble President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind and Guest of Honour, Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Manohal Lal.

Among others who will witness the closing ceremony comprise Member of Parliament, Sonepat, Mr. Ramesh Kaushik; Minister of State, Food & Supply Haryana, Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj; Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Haryana, Mr. O P Dhankar and Finance Minister, Haryana, Capt. Abhimanyu.
