With increased automation, robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, there is disruption in technology, businesses and society which is impacting job roles. In this arena, sustainable job creation will no longer be about white?collar or blue?collar jobs, but about ‘new?collar’ jobs. There is re?definition of skills and jobs. Manufacturing is now moving from mass?production to a mass-customization paradigm.

In this context, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry is organizing a summit on Skilling India for Global Competitiveness on 12 September 2018 at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The theme of Summit is “Preparing Industry 4.0 Workforce.”

The rationale of the Summit is to sensitize industry and stakeholders on skills for future in the era of Industry 4.0 and impact of disruptive changes on skill sets. The Summit will bring together diverse set of stakeholders including Business Leaders, Entrepreneurs, HR Fraternity, Deans and Directors from Higher Education Institutes, School Principals/Promoters and Skill Providers.
