The Young Business Leaders Forum (YBLF) organized Vision Boarding Workshop with Ms. Vedika Khaitan, Life Coach.

Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his remarks welcomed Ms. Vedika Khaitan for addressing the audience on an interesting topic of Vision Boarding. He highlighted that having a vision mean we have a clear sense of purpose. He added that visions are driven by passion and dreams, and they are reflected through real efforts to create real results. He mentioned about the vision of his company and what his company wishes to achieve rather than just competing with the others.

Ms. Aditi Pasari, Chair, YBLF in her welcome remarks said that all in the audience will gain immensely from this insightful session. She introduced the key note speaker and highlighted on the various initiatives of the YBLF. While concluding she quoted First Lady of United States of America Ms. Eleanor Roosevelt (from March 1933 to April 1945) who said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

Ms. Vedika Khaitan, Life Coach in her address started with the importance of defining our dream. She said that we need to be an action taker that is what is required in our lives. She kept the workshop interactive and highlighted upon various steps of vision boarding. She mentioned that visualization in terms of skills, having clarity of thoughts and being ever evolving is very important. While interacting she asked the audience to rate their expectation and reality in four areas i.e. Health & wellness; Relationships; Career & wealth and Recreation, fun & travel. She divided the workshop into five parts which are 1) Dream Life; 2) Values; 3) Roles; 4) Goals and 5) Affirmation. She added the 3As which are Awareness, Acceptance and Action in implementing your vision board. While summing up she quoted “Believe in your dreams and they may come true; believe in yourself and they will come true”. She also offered complimentary half and hour session on vision boarding to first ten people to sign up for it.

Ms. Ritika Aggrawal, Co-Chair, YBLF expressed her gratitude to Ms. Khaitan for the insightful session and shared her vision of starting a school for the underprivileged children.

The Q&A session saw an active participation from the audience with Ms. Aditi Pasari, Chair, YBLF asking the first question on how to execute the vision board, followed by questions from other participants.

Mr. Salil Gupta, Co-Chair, YBLF proposed the formal vote of thanks to all the delegates and keynote speaker. He added that it was indeed an interesting learning session for all of us and audiences have gained key insights on Vision Boarding from the session which will help them in their future planning.
