No.PR-119 June 8, 2020 New Delhi Follow the mantras of Muskarana to keep mind, body, and soul peaceful during these times of COVID-19: Dr. Surakshit Goswami, Yoga Guru New Delhi, 7th June 2020- In this world of COVID-19, when the world is facing negativity and anxiety, it is important to stay calm and make our mind strong so that we achieve mental peace and stay energized to fight with negativity in the environment, said Dr. Surakshit Goswami, Renowned Yoga Guru in the webinar hosted by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on “Balancing Life, Wellness and Happiness of Mental Health and Mediation of Body, Mind, and Soul”. Dr. Surakshit Goswami, Renowned Yoga Guru talked about the 3 Mantras of keep mind, body, and soul peaceful which are Muskarana, Gungunana, and Sukhrana which means to Smile, Chanting, and Be thankful. He said that smiling is one of the most important parts to keep negativity at bay and spread happiness in the environment. While, smiling keeps one and people around us happy, chanting the name of God, Om, prayers of god helps to keep the mind in the present, calm and composed. Dr. Surakshit Goswami Ji also said that in this world, we should be thankful to nature and earth of existence of ourselves as well as of our surroundings. Complaining leads to negativity which leads to anxiety and other diseases. Dr. Surakshit Goswami Ji said that following the mantras of Muskarana, Gungunana, and Sukhrana will help to connect our soul with nature which leads to the pathway towards mental peace and happiness. He deliberated about the importance and benefits of Pranayam, Loom Vilom, and Bhavani Yoga which helps in for leading a healthy life, keeping the body energized, regulating the nervous system, and stabilizes breathing. He did exercises like chanting Om, Pranayam, Loom Vilom, and others in the webinar with the senior management of PHD Chamber and participants throughout the country. He also did and suggested easy exercises for shoulders, neck, and upper part of the body which helps to keep muscles relaxed while working from home. Dr. D. K. Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his presidential address mentioned that due to COVID-19, which has affected every part of the world and every industry, it has also affected our stress levels and lifestyle. There is a need to be mentally strong, strengthen our immunity, and stabilize ourselves mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. He further deliberated about the importance of yoga which helps to connect mind, body, and soul and is one of the ancient forms of exercise which has several benefits. Dr. Aruna Abhey Oswal, Chairperson, Women Entrepreneurship Committee, PHD Chamber in her welcome remarks discussed that yoga is considered as one of the most effective exercises for mind, body, and soul. During these times of COVID-19, it is important to stay socially isolated but at the same time keep ourselves mentally strong and focused on improving our overall health. COVID-19 has given us time to rejuvenate ourselves and devote some time to our health and body.
