4th Women Astitva Samman & 3rd Junior Astitva Samman 2019 Given Away on 15th February by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry
PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday gave away Women Astitva Samman and Junior Astitva Samman to leading institutions and entrepreneurs committed to public cause and public services including services rendered to under privilege.
The Women Astitva Samman-2019 was given away to CRPF and Navy Wives Welfare Association for their distinguished contribution in their areas of services.
The Samman were also conferred upon a leading construction company known as JCB in the corporate category whereas in NGO segment, the Samman was conferred on National Thalassemia Welfare Society and in MSME category, the Samman went to Heads Up for Tails.
The four Junior Astitva Samman-2019 were also conferred upon to talented students of leading schools such as Modern School, Vasant Vihar; Amity International School, Saket; Birla Vidya Niketan, Pushp Vihar and Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram to recognize and acknowledge the contributions of the students in these schools for their innovative thinking and practices.
The Sammans were given away collectively by Secretary General, Rajya Sabha, Mr D D Verma; Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner (MSME), Mr Ram Mohan Mishra in the presence of President, Sr. Vice President and Vice President of PHD Chamber, Mr Rajeev Talwar, Mr. D K Aggarwal and Mr Sanjay Aggarwal respectively including Chairperson, Women and Child Development Committee, PHD Chamber, Ms. Anuradha Goel along with other members of the WCD Committee such as Ms. Suneeta Trivedi and Ms. Karuna Shriram.
