Industries should come forward to spread awareness about Covid Vaccination- OP Sakhlecha, Minister MSME Govt of MP

PHD Chamber MP Chapter successfully organized an awareness virtual session on Importance of Tika Utsav Covid Vaccination on 13 April 2021, more than 400 participants from different organizations and communities joined the session.

Mr O P Sakhlecha, Hon’ble Minister, MSME Govt of Madhya Pradesh was the Chief Guest of the program. Minister appreciated the PHD Chamber for taking this initiative to encourage people for covid vaccination after clarion call by Hon’ble Prime Minister for celebrating Tika Utsav from 11 April to 14th April in the country. Shri OP Sakhlecha, in his address, appealed the people of MP to take proper Covid Precautions and get vaccinated. He said the under the able leadership of our Prime Minister and Chief Minister we are leading the world in fight against pandemic. He was very happy to know that PHDCCI is organizing this awareness campaign throughout the country.

Mr Pradeep Multani, Sr Vice President, PHDCCI urged all the participants and industrialists to participate in the Tika Utsav by encouraging people at their workplace and also out of their premises to get vaccinated and follow the instructions related to Covid 19 as prescribed by doctors and Govt. He also stressed on the importance of Ayurvedic Medicines in order to boost the immunity which is the key factor in fight against pandemic.

Dr I D Chaurasia Superintendent Hamidia Govt Hospital Bhopal and Sr Neurosurgeon apprised that Covid Vaccine is 100 % safe and every person above 45 should get vaccinated. He added that after vaccination it is very normal to have some mild effects on body like fever, body ache etc. In these cases one should not panic, if necessary, paracetamol can be used to alleviate the problems. He informed that after first dose of vaccination, it starts developing antibodies up to 60-70%.

Mr Pradeep Karambelkar, Chairman, PHDCCI MP Chapter and Mrs Preeti Saluja, Co-Chairperson, PHDCCI MP Chapter also requested all the participants to get vaccinated if they are above 45.

Dr Yogesh Srivastav Assistant Secretary General informed that just after the announcement of Hon’ble Prime Minister for celebrating Tika Utasav in the country to motivate people for vaccination, PHDCCI being a responsible and one of the oldest industry bodies of India, initiated this awareness campaign across the country through its regional offices in states. He proposed a hearty Vote of thanks to all the participants.

Mr Kunal Giani Managing Director Sarva Foam P Ltd and Member of PHDCCI MP Chapter moderated the program.

The program was supported by Lions Club New Lake City Bhopal. Mr Alok Nath Vice President Lions Club New Lake City appreciated the initiative of PHDCCI and assured to extend full support in spreading awareness of these kinds of campaign in future too.
