117th Annual Session of PHD Chamber would focus on India’s Pursuit for Self-reliance

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is celebrating its 117th Annual session on Friday, 30th September 2022 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi through Hybrid mode. The theme for the Annual Session is “India@75: Celebrating India’s Pursuit for Self – Reliance”.

Mr. Pradeep Multani , who took over as President on 1st October, 2021 would become the Immediate Former President of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Multani, a stalwart of the AYUSH industry is trying his best to promote Traditional systems of medicines across the world by addressing different seminars and sensitizing various embassies and other international delegates and doing advocacy on different issues on behalf of the Industry and as more than 40 years of experience in the field of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines sector.

Mr. Saket Dalmia, Managing Director at Marble City (PG Industry Ltd.) would be taking over as President from 1st October, 2022 of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He obtained his degree in business and finance from the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, USA, and started his entrepreneurial journey after his return from the USA. The company has several joint ventures with cutting-edge global facade products and felicitated as one of the 100 fastest growing export houses from India.

 

117th Annual Session is a catalytic moment forum for India Inc and policy makers from the central and state governments to jointly support the prescient vision and mission-in-progress of “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” through strengthening the base of government-industry interface under the robust cooperative federalism framework and global engagements.

This meaningful engagement of India’s brightest minds will ensure the best desired outcomes in the crucial thrust area of the economy – spanning across primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. At this crucial point of time in the history of mankind, creating a blueprint for the economic rebounding process will go a long way in serving the national interest as well as the interest of humanity. PHDCCI’s 117th Annual Session thus calls for the stakeholder’ participation from the government, industry, civil society, media and others – to the world collectively for the greater common good.

Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, would be the Chief Guest in the Inaugural Session; Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, India, Shri Om Birla, would be “Chief Guest” in the Business Excellence Session; Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Government of India, Shri Piyush Goyal, would be the Chief Guest in the session : Braving a New Post-Pandemic World – The Way Ahead for “India Growth Story”; Hon’ble Union Minister for Defence, Government of India, Shri Rajnath Singh would be the Chief Guest in the session Make in India – A Success Story of India’s Defence Indigenisation; Hon’ble Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, would be the Chief Guest in the session Making New, Inclusive and Prosperous India. Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India Mr Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi, would be Chief Guest in the Valedictory Session: India’s Global Partnership Call in Alternate & Renewable Energy.
