The entire ecosystem of enterprises today has become data based. Mr. Anil Kumar Jain, CEO, NIXI, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India

With a view to discuss the future potential and growth trajectory of data driven intelligent connectivity as well as the impact of breakthrough technologies on business operations and their growth, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) organised an E-Conclave On Intelligent Connectivity For Business Growth on 2nd September 2021 focusing on “Advanced Digital Networks for Data-Oriented Businesses”.

Mr. Anil Kumar Jain, CEO, NIXI, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India, spoke at length about the relevance of the timely launch of digital India scheme on 1st July 2015 by Hon’ble PM and how it is boosting the digital infrastructure, digital governance and digital access to everyone. He added that the entire ecosystems of our industries today have become data based.

Dr. A. K. Garg, Sr. Director, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt of India, stated that the IOT device market has a very high future potential and its growth pace is promising. IOT devices are now easily accessible at extremely cheap prices. He also stressed on the digital adaptation across all sectors, globally due to the pandemic and believed that India is a very strong player in the digital space.

Talking about the importance of data management, Mr. Deepak Pahwa, Chair, Innovation Committee, PHDCCI mentioned that, the collection of high quality data is the building block of intelligent connectivity. He also informed that in today’s digital and data driven era, private business entities are ready to spend enormous amounts of money on data management and government bodies are focused on data collection as well data protection.

Mr. V.K. Mishra, Co-Chair, Innovation Committee, PHDCCI provided an intuitive industry perspective and stated that intelligent connectivity is a combination of high speed network, artificial intelligence and the linkage of devices through integrated network. These technologies are a game changer for businesses in terms of growth and future survival. He also added that the scope of Intelligent Connectivity in business growth is evident across various sectors like advertising, tourism, healthcare, drone operations and many others.

While moderating the webinar, Dr. Jatinder Singh – Director, PHDCCI, provided an overview of intelligent connectivity as well as business growth. He emphasized on the importance of embracing the new technologies and its integration across various businesses.
