PHD Chamber organises a webinar on Corporate Compliances Recent Relaxations by MCA and SEBI
Mr. Satwinder Singh, Partner Vaish Associates Advocates, and Mr. Lokesh Dhyani, Senior Associate, Vaish Associates Advocates addressed the delegates and senior PHD members in an interactive Webinar on Corporate Compliances Recent Relaxations by MCA and SEBI organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 16th April 2020. The webinar witnessed a participation of 100 delegates from all over India.
While thanking, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing an informative webinar on such an important issue in these times of crisis. He shared a detailed analysis of the recent relaxations made by MCA and SEBI.
Largely, the relaxations given by MCA and SEBI can be divided into two aspects, one being related to COVID-19 and other being the general ones. The CFSS 2020 scheme which has been launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs which has given an edge over all the schemes given in the past. It is one of the most effective, said Mr. Satwinder Singh, Partner Vaish Associates Advocates.
Mr. Lokesh Dhyani, Senior Associate, Vaish Associates Advocates gave a detailed presentation about the recent schemes and relaxations given by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and SEBI to help the industry during the time of COVID-19.
Dr. D K Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber, while welcoming the esteemed speakers and participants in the Webinar, threw light on the recent relaxations made by the MCA and SEBI which will help to ease the business during these crisis times of COVID-19.
The topic of today’s webinar is relevant in today’s times. Due to Lockdown in the country, there is a stoppage in some activities. We have actively given our recommendations and suggestion to the ministries on the rising issues during this period. Our Honorable Finance Minister has made a lot of relaxations which has made life easier. We really appreciate the active work being done by SEBI in reducing the compliances regarding the filling of disclosure requirements, said Dr. D K Aggarwal.
The webinar was moderated by Mr. Pawan Kumar Rustagi, Co-Chair Corporate Affairs Committee, PHDCCI. The Webinar was attended other senior PHD members and industry stalwarts.
