PHDCCI Honoured Artists, Dancers, Musicians, painters and sculptures PHD Art & Culture Samman

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday organized a Cultural evening – UNITY IN DIVERSITY wherein renowned artists, dancers, musicians, painters and sculptures including theatre artists were felicitated. The evening also witnessed a Special Performance by Kathak Guru Shovana Narayan (A Padmashri awardee).

The Samman for their outstanding contribution which were given away today by Legendary Katahk Maestro-Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji ( A Padma Vibhushan Awardee) and Ms Sushma Seth, Renowned Film, Theatre & TV Actor in which Senior Vice President, PHDCCI, Dr D K Aggarwal along with its Immediate Former President, Mr Anil Khaitan; Chair, Art & Culture Committee, Mr Sandeep Marwah; Chairperson – PHD Family Welfare Foundation-Ms Anuradha Goel; Co-Chairmen, Tourism Committee, Mr Kishore Kaya and Mr Rajan Sehgal and Principal Director, PHDCCI, Mr Yogesh Srivastav.

The Samman given away to Guru Dr Saroja Vaidyanathan, Guru Dr S Raja Radha Reddy, Guru R K Singhajit Singh, Guru Madhavi Mudgal, Ms Prathibha Prahlad, Guru Sharon Lowen, in the field of dance and to dance critics Ms Leela Venkataraman and Mr Ravindra Mishra.

In area of Music Samman were conferred to Pt. Rajan and Sajan Mishra, Pt. Laxman Krishnarao Pandit, Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan, Pt. Vidyadhar Vyas, Ms Malini Awasthi and Ms Deepmala Mohan.

Samman were also given away to Ms Arpana Gaur, Ms Alka Raghuvanshi, Mr Naresh Kapuria, Mr Niren Sengupta, Ms Shruti Gupta Chandra and Mr Sudhir V Phadnes for their contribution in the field of Art-Painting & Sculptures and Ms Laila Tyabji received the Samman in the field of crafts and handicrafts.
