AIBMA Delegation Germany from 3rd to 7th October 2009
The All India Bread Manufacturers’ Association (AIBMA) is taking a large delegation of 50 members to visit the international fair on Bakery at Dusseldorf, Germany from 3rd to 7th October 2009. The delegation will be led by Shri Ramesh Mago, President of AIBMA and a National Award Winner for outstanding entrepreneurship by the Ministry of MSME. Representatives of bread manufacturing companies like Britannia, Hindustan Uniliver, Harvest Gold, Perfect Food, Bonn Nutrients and many more from across the India are joining the delegation.
The IBA is organized every three years at Dusseldorf, Germany and is considered the most important event for bakery and confectionary sectors.
As a spokesman of the bread industry, the AIBMA maintains interaction with the Government for promoting the bread industry in the country. The Association effectively follows up the issues of concern to the bread industry pertaining to raw materials quality aspects and promoting popularity of bread as nutritious wheat based food.
AIBMA has been instrumental in obtaining withdrawal of Sales Tax on bread in various States. The Association is engaged in a continuous dialogue with the central and State governments underlining various problem areas experienced by the bread industry. AIBMA has also embarked a campaign for popularizing Bread and consumer awareness.
To serve its membership the AIBMA disseminate information of interest to the bread industry and provides a common forum of interaction. The AIBMA promotes programmes aimed at development of wheat based industries with like-minded bodies.
IBA, the largest global bakery and confectionary trade fair, offers innovative and standards for manufacturing of bakery products, current trends in café and snacks sectors and is represented by the top grade companies from over 45 countries. This year the expanse of the fair is around 123000 sq. meters.
