The PHD Chamber welcomes the spectacular performance of the UPA in the Lok Sabha elections with the verdict pointing towards a majority for the alliance. With the UPA government set to assume office, the Chamber looks forward to the much desired political stability which would create a favourable environment for doing business. According to Mr. Satish Bagrodia, President, PHD Chamber, "The Chamber is hopeful that the new government would usher in a new wave of reforms which would stimulate demand, provide a boost to the investment climate and put the economy to the path of growth at a time when the economy is buffeted by the difficult economic conditions, both in the domestic and the international marketplace."
