Cold blooded murder of L K Chaudhary, MD of the Italian Auto Parts Company in Greater Noida, by the workers of the factory, is yet another reminder of the animal instinct in human-beings taking precedence over rational thinking.

This case of workers taking law in their own hands and attacking senior officials and staff of the company - even going to the extreme of murdering the CEO- is unprecedented in corporate history. This will affect business sentiment and would have adverse repercussions on investment in the state. The zones of NOIDA and Greater NOIDA have so far been attracting a spate of investment activities and many new investments are in the pipeline .The State Government has also been making lot of effort to create an investor-friendly environment. However, such acts will make the industrialists think twice before investing.

All problems can be solved by negotiations, discussion and mediation.  Resorting to such barbarian steps must be condemned in strongest terms. The law and order be strengthened to instill confidence in industry about the safety of their life and property.
