PHD Chamber-Transfer of Technology by DRDO
DRDO is the leading Research & Development Organisation of the country. Over a period of time DRDO has developed many technologies which are useful to civilians as well as defence personnel. These technologies are relevant, contemporary and can be used for commercial ventures. Recently DRDO has offered many technologies developed by them for transfer to civil companies/organisations.
There are 18 technologies in Category ‘B’ for which the bidding is on for the licence. One time licence fee allows the bidder to use the technology for 10 years which can be further renewed free of cost. The last date for bidding is 16 October 2017. PHD Chamber has a MoU with DRDO with respect to Transfer of Technology to Industry. PHD Chamber is the facilitating agency to whom the bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope. The bids will be further submitted to DRDO for scrutiny and issue of licences. For Category ‘B’ the bids can be submitted to the undersigned at the address given below latest by 13 October 2017.
Besides Category B technology, there are 142 food technologies which are offered for transfer on payment of a fixed amount for licence and no bidding is required. Any industry / organisation interested in any of the food technology may please contact the undersigned to know the exact amount of the licence fee. The licence fee varies from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.3 lakh for sl no. 5,7,29,42,64, 65, 84, 85, 86, 96, 99, 100, 103, 108, 111, 112, 114, 117, 121, 142. For rest of the food technologies the cost varies from Rs. 10,000/- upto Rs.75,000/-
