Mr Riza Nur Meral, President of Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkiye (TUSKON) in his remarks said that the present time was opportune for Indian businessmen to make a foray into Turkey due to various political and economic reasons and the ripened areas for business cooperation between India and Turkey could be tourism and pharmaceuticals.

“Tourism industry in Turkey is quite exposed to the best of the tourism centres world over and so is the Indian tourism sector and therefore, the two nations could negotiate on ways that can cement their ties and grow in an equitable manner”, he said.

In his welcome remarks, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Mahesh Gupta asked the visiting delegation of TUSKON to identify projects for investment in India with their own finances in areas of infrastructure and construction and await handsome return on their investments in next 30 years as India provides for it now.

He even announced that the KENT RO the company which he owns would make attempts to diversify its business basket in Turkey by introducing to it its air purifiers and other products.

Vice President, PHD Chamber, Mr. Anil Khaitan in his observations made a case for India and Turkey moving closer for striking business cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals.
