National Conference on Accelerating Industrial Growth held under aegis of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday has recommended amalgamation of innovations and disruptive technologies in all sect of manufacturing to augment the industrial growth in India to enable it pip the economies of scale not only in the subcontinent but the entire globe.
 

The Conference presided over by the President, PHD Chamber Mr. Alok B. Shriram in which CEO of Global Mindset Mr. Pradeep Khanna and Scientist G, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research Mr. Ashwani Gupta including MD, J&K SIDCO Mr. Amit Sharma were key speakers highlighted that India needed to gear up to absorb innovations and disruptive technologies in its manufacturing and value engineering to revive its growth path.
 

“Ola Cab and evolving e-commerce are one such platforms that personify with disruptive technologies as these have transformed business transactions in four wheeler segment as well as retail trading.  Though, in its preliminary stages, the two businesses have shown the way that out of box ideas if implemented with mindset equip with technological orientation can change the business patterns which needs to be emulated by Indians having aspirations to take greater strides to enhance business volume”, said Mr. Khanna.
 

Mr. Gupta who represented the department of scientific and industrial research held that government has been encouraging research and innovations and attempting its best to implement the policies of the government through adoption of disruptive innovations results of which would follow.
 

Among others who emphasized the need of disruptive technologies to enable India to transform and grow on par with economies that have made mark world over comprised the Chairman, Committee on Innovations, PHD Chamber Mr. S K Sarkar and its Secretary General Mr. Saurabh Sanyal and host of others who aired such views in the technical and other sessions of the Conference.
