GERMANY MOUNTING INDUSTRIAL DELEGATION ON TO INDIA IN NOV’15 TO PROMOTE ITS MAKE IN INDIA: GERMAN EMBASSY
 

A delegation consisting of multiple segments of German industry would visit India in November 2015 to promote Make in India drive of the Prime Minister Mr. Modi in areas of automobiles, renewable energy, bio-tech and many MSMEs segments, says Minister, Head of Economic Commercial Division, embassy of Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Corinna Fricke.
 

Addressing an Interactive Session on “Doing Business in Bavaria (Germany)” under aegis of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, Dr. Fricke said that the formation of the proposed delegation could be finalized after Prime Minister Mr. Modi and German Chancellor have inaugurated the Hanover Fair in April 2015.
 

Germany and India would work closely to promote their trade and economic ties to further facilitate the Make in India programme of the present dispensation so that Make in India was advanced to countries it could effectively make inroads into, said the Minister, Head of Economic Commercial Division, German Embassy.
 

On the occasion the Executive Director, Invest in Bavaria Mr. John Kottayil said that export from Bavaria to India reached 1.379 billion Euros by 2013 whereas imports from India to Bavaria stood at 943 million Euros.
 

In his welcome remarks, President PHD Chamber Mr. Alok B. Shriram emphasized that conditions and climate should be made more conducive so that the trade ties between India and Bavaria are deepened and multiplied since Bavaria is one of the strongest economic regions in the Europe in which Indian companies have already made their presence felt.
 

Among others who participated in the interactive session comprised Chairman International Affairs Committee (Europe) of PHD Chamber Mr. Mohit Jain and its Secretary General Mr. Saurabh Sanyal who in his vote of thanks sought closer linkages for India and Bavaria’s trade and economic ties expansion.
