UNDP-GEF-SGP Project, Rajasthan - During this month 22 SHG meetings and 11 village committee meetings had been organised at different villages of Alwar District to motivate people to do more plantations for the coming monsoon in their respective villages. The issues like hygiene/sanitation, education of girls, carpet making, tailoring and income generation schemes were also discussed.

Palriwala India Foundation Water Harvesting Projects - Lodhalawala project at Tejalagaon, Sikar district is proposed to be completed by the middle of June 2010. 9 SHG meetings were held during the period to discuss issues related to avail bank loan, its benefits and starting a micro enterprise.

PHDRDF - Rotary Projects, Rajasthan - One more Water Harvesting Project has been started at village Luharbaas in Sikar district on 2 June 2010 with financial assistance from Rotary International. Project named 'Birwali' at village Avinashi. A Water Harvesting Project at Kishanpura funded by Rotary International has been completed on 30 May 2010. During this period 14 SHG meetings and 9 village committee meetings were organised to discuss issues related to smooth functioning of SHGs, girl education, carpet weaving and its marketing and plantation for the monsoon.

Community based Water Irrigation Project, in Sikar (Rajasthan) - The contour survey work for installation of water sprinkler system in agricultural field in villages- Avinashi, Lohiya Ki Dhani and Mishrala Ki Dhani has been completed by an agency called AFPRO from Udaipur and the report is awaited for the final installation.

PHDFWF-TI Project on HIV/AIDS - During this month a VCTC camp was organised under the project in association with ESI hospital which was attended by 13 high risk groups. 40 women have attended the STI clinic. 20 group meetings have been organised in IKV, Golakuan, Tekhand, Yogshala, Sanjay Colony, Tughlakabad Gaon, Harkeshnagar & Railway Colony.

PHDFWF Health Posts - The Health Posts participated in the Pulse Polio immunization program held on 23 May 2010.

Around 4,890 children have been immunized. Door to door visits were conducted during the following week to ensure vaccination of complete child population of the areas. Around 8 Village Health & Nutrition camps have been conducted in nearby areas of Trilokpuri and Pandavnagar Health Posts. 22 group meetings on HIV/AIDS, family planning and 17 immunization camps were also organised during this month.

Palriwala India Foundation Mobile Medical Van - During this month 17 free health check up camps have been organised in the villages of Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Rajasthan and slums of Delhi and around 1,794 patients had been examined. Free diagnostic care, clinical services and medicines were provided to the patients. 

This month the PIF Mobile Medical van visited six villages of Ghanshali block of Tehri district of Uttaranchal to service the local communities. About 600 local villagers availed such good medical care for the first time. Thses villagers are the last motorable destinations in Uttaranchal.
