PHD Chamber Annual Awards for Excellence 2009

PHD Chamber Annual Awards for Excellence were instituted in 1997 to recognise Indian businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals for their outstanding achievements / contributions in select areas and for promoting corporate and individual initiatives in economic, social and educational areas.

Since 1997, the Awards have been presented every year on the occasion of the Annual Session of the PHD Chamber. Each Award is focussed on a different theme and consists of a Trophy and a Citation.

The Awards Jury

This year the Awards Jury was chaired by Mr. Justice R C Lahoti, Former Chief Justice of India. The Jury evaluated a large number of nominations received by the PHD Chamber and, after considerable deliberation, selected the five Awardees. The members of the Awards Jury were:
